Manufactum Bread & Butter and the Manufactum Fresh Counter are located right next to the Manufactum department store, just around the corner from Königsallee.
The fresh counter offers traditionally made dairy products, cheese, sausages, and ham. In the glass-walled bakery, we can experience authentic baking craftsmanship. What comes out of the stone oven not only tastes fresh, but even days later.
At Bread & Butter, we can enjoy freshly prepared dishes with a good coffee, tea, or cold drink – from sandwiches to quiches to cakes. Hot and cold lunch dishes are available. It sometimes takes a little longer, but it's worth it, especially since I simply love chilling on the outdoor terrace.

I think it's one of the most beautiful department stores in Düsenhausen, because you can find so many beautiful things there that would be subsumed under the term "quality craftsmanship": beautiful wooden materials, linen cloths and blankets, sewn instead of glued shoes, you name it! I think the longevity is simply cool, because the products benefit greatly from handcrafted production, well-thought-out functionality, and... a long service life, because they make sure that individual parts can be replaced and mechanisms can be repaired.

I may be a late bird, but then there's no nice place left, so this time we'll enjoy this pleasure right from the beginning... 😁
